The Student Executive Board (BEM) of the Faculty of Pharmacy (FF) of the University of Indonesia (UI) will hold Vampire Day FF UI 2017 on Wednesday, November 8 2017, at 09.00-12.00 WIB in Corridor D, Health Sciences Cluster Building (RIK) UI.
There are two activities in Vampire Day FF UI 2017: Blood Donation and Education about Blood Donation.
Blood donors
This blood donation activity consists of several stages, including registration and a health check for prospective donors. Eligible donors can donate blood with assistance from officers from the Depok Indonesian Red Cross Blood Donor Unit (UDD). After donating, donors will receive snacks and a blood donor card.
Here are the requirements:
- Physically and mentally healthy
- Aged over 17 years
- Minimum body weight 47 kg
- Not currently taking any medication
- Don't stay up late before donating
- Not menstruating
- Not fasting
Education About Blood Donation
Education will be provided through social media sharing before the blood drive, followed by a video screening explaining the benefits of blood donation for both donors and recipients during the drive. It is hoped that this video screening will help the public understand the importance of blood donation and encourage them to donate regularly.
