Depok, July 4, 2026 – Four lecturers from the Faculty of Pharmacy, University of Indonesia (FFUI) have successfully obtained the Higher Education Internal Quality Auditor (AMI) certification after participating in the Strategic Leadership for Academic Quality Excellence – Higher Education AMI Auditor Certification program organized by the Institute for Leadership and Executive Education (LKPE) of IPB. This activity took place on June 30–July 3, 2026, at the Apung Room, University of Indonesia Campus, Depok, as part of an effort to prepare certified Academic Internal Audit (AIA) auditors while strengthening the quality assurance system within the higher education environment.
The FFUI academicians who participated in the training were Prof. Dr. apt. Fadlina Chany Saputri, M.Sc., Dr. apt. Baitha Palanggatan Maggadani, M.Farm., apt. Ratika Rahmasari, M.Pharm.Sc., Ph.D., and apt. Tri Wahyuni, M.Biomed., Ph.D. The four of them participated in a series of training as participants to prepare themselves to become competent and certified Academic Internal Audit (AIA) Auditors.
This program is designed to equip participants with an understanding of higher education quality assurance systems, quality standards, internal audit techniques, and audit implementation in accordance with the principles of objectivity, independence, and continuous improvement. This training also provides participants with the opportunity to develop their skills in evaluating the effectiveness of the Internal Quality Assurance System (SPMI) implementation in higher education.
As a result of the program, all participants from the Faculty of Pharmacy, University of Indonesia, successfully passed the certification exam and received the Certified Internal Quality Assurance Auditor (CIIQA) certificate. This certification recognizes their competence as internal quality auditors, capable of supporting academic audits professionally and in accordance with applicable standards.
This success is expected to further strengthen the capacity of the UI Faculty of Pharmacy to implement a sustainable quality assurance system. With the addition of certified internal auditors, the internal quality audit process can be carried out more effectively, objectively, and systematically as part of efforts to improve the quality of education, research, community service, and faculty governance.
For the Faculty of Pharmacy, University of Indonesia (UI), improving the competence of internal quality auditors is a strategic investment in maintaining and improving the institution's quality. Consistent implementation of quality assurance not only supports the achievement of superior academic standards but also ensures increasingly high-quality educational services for students and strengthens stakeholder trust in the Faculty of Pharmacy, University of Indonesia.
Through the active participation of faculty in various professional development programs, the Faculty of Pharmacy, University of Indonesia, continues to demonstrate its commitment to building a sustainable culture of quality. This effort aligns with the faculty's vision to become a superior, innovative, and competitive pharmaceutical higher education institution at the national and international levels.
