Depok, July 16, 2026 – The Faculty of Pharmacy, University of Indonesia (FFUI) once again invites all academics to participate in the 2026 Coaching Clinic on Scientific Writing, a capacity-building program designed to help participants improve the quality of their scientific article writing and expand their opportunities for publication in reputable journals. This activity provides a platform for lecturers, researchers, and students to receive direct mentoring from experienced academics in the field of scientific publication.
With the theme of developing scientific articles from research results to publication, this activity will cover two main topics: writing original research articles and writing systematic reviews and meta-analyses. Through a combination of seminars and coaching clinic sessions, participants are expected to gain a more comprehensive understanding of strategies for preparing scientific manuscripts that meet the standards of internationally reputable journals.
In the first session, apt. Delly Ramadon, M.Farm., Ph.D., a lecturer at the UI Faculty of Pharmacy who is included in Stanford University's Top 2% Scientists Worldwide 2025 list, will present material entitled "From Research to Publication: Writing Original Research Articles for Reputable Journals." Participants will gain insight into the process of developing research results into systematic, high-quality scientific articles that have a greater chance of being accepted in reputable journals.
Meanwhile, the second session will feature apt. Hindun Wilda Risni, M.Farm., PhD Candidate at University College London (UCL), who has experience in writing systematic reviews and meta-analyses. Through the topic "Developing High-Quality Review Articles: Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyses," participants will learn the stages of writing review articles that comply with scientific methodology and have a high contribution to the development of science.
The series of activities begins with an article submission, which will close on August 16, 2026, at 11:59 PM WIB. The seminar will then be held on August 26, 2026, from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM WIB, as a hybrid session. The Coaching Clinic will take place on the same day, from 1:00 PM WIB to completion, at Artotel Senayan, Jakarta. For coaching clinic participants, in-person attendance is required to participate in the mentoring session.
Through this activity, participants not only receive material from speakers with a track record of international publications but also the opportunity to receive direct feedback on scientific manuscripts they are developing. This mentoring is expected to help participants improve the quality of their manuscripts and increase their chances of publication in reputable national and international journals.
