Depok, July 13, 2026 – The Faculty of Pharmacy, University of Indonesia (FFUI) is opening opportunities for lecturers to participate in the 2026 Faculty Policy Brief Grant. This program is one of FFUI's efforts to encourage the utilization of research and/or community service results into policy recommendations (policy briefs) that can provide real contributions to evidence-based decision-making.
Through this program, FFUI aims to strengthen the downstreaming of research and community service outcomes so that they not only produce academic output but also provide broader benefits through policy recommendations that can be used by the government, regulators, and other stakeholders. Thus, the research results developed by the academic community are expected to support the resolution of various challenges in the health and pharmaceutical sectors.
In 2026, the Faculty Policy Brief Grant will provide funding of Rp20.000.000 for each successful proposal, with a quota of four proposals. All submitted proposals must be based on research and/or community service activities, ensuring that the resulting policy recommendations are scientifically sound and relevant to community needs.
The program implementation series begins with socialization and information dissemination in the first week of July 2026, then continued with the submission of proposals in the second week of July 2026. Furthermore, the announcement of grant recipients and the signing of contracts are scheduled for the fourth week of July 2026, while the disbursement of grant funds will be carried out in August 2026. The program will close with the submission of a final report along with public output in the form of a policy brief in November 2026.
Through the Faculty Policy Brief Grant, FFUI hopes that more research and community service results can be transformed into applicable and impactful policy recommendations. This program also represents the faculty's commitment to strengthening the role of higher education as a strategic partner with the government and various stakeholders in producing policies based on scientific evidence.
