The Doctoral Study Program in Pharmaceutical Sciences, Faculty of Pharmacy, University of Indonesia (PSS3 Pharmaceutical Sciences, FFUI) has been held since 2010, based on UI Chancellor's Decree No. 0072/SK/R/UI/2010 dated 2 February 2010. The Pharmaceutical Science Doctoral Study Program provides 5 areas of specialization for students, namely:
- Peminatan Teknologi Farmasi
- Peminatan Kimia Farmasi
- Peminatan Biologi Farmasi
- Peminatan Farmakologi dan Toksikologi
- Peminatan Farmasi Klinik.
The Doctoral Program at the UI Faculty of Pharmacy can be followed in 2 ways, namely: through lectures and research and through research (for those who meet the study by research requirements). The current curriculum is the 2020 curriculum which is implemented based on Rector's regulation No. 8 of 2021 concerning the Implementation of Doctoral Programs at UI. The course is designed so that students can start research in the second semester, so that publication as a graduation requirement can be achieved.
About Us
Doctor of Pharmacy graduates are able to develop knowledge and technology in the pharmaceutical field (pharmaceutical technology, pharmaceutical chemistry, pharmaceutical biology, pharmacology and clinical pharmacy) through research and solving problems using an inter, multi or transdisciplinary approach, as well as being able to manage, lead and develop good research which is beneficial for Pharmaceutical Science and Technology and the benefit of humanity, resulting in creative, original and tested work, and receiving national and international recognition.

Creating a Doctoral Program at the Faculty of Pharmacy that can produce superior Doctors of Pharmaceutical Sciences who are able to solve problems and challenges at the national and global level, leading to excellence in Southeast Asia.
Mission of the Pharmaceutical Sciences Doctoral Study Program
- Creating a scientific, research and technological climate that is able to support the realization of the vision of the Doctor of Pharmacy Program at the UI Faculty of Pharmacy.
- Organizing quality Tridharma activities in the field of pharmacy and relevant to national and global challenges;
- Optimizing the quality research-based education process in the pharmaceutical sector.
- Producing Doctoral graduates in the pharmaceutical field who have high intellectuality, noble character, and are able to contribute scientifically globally.

- Strengthening scientific culture by improving the quality of research and community service.
- Improving the quality and competitiveness of graduates of the FFUI Doctoral of Pharmaceutical Sciences Study Program, both at national and international levels.
- Investing in developing the knowledge and insight of graduates which encourages the formation of a systematic scientific mindset and research spirit.
- Encourage the realization of a healthy FFUI Doctoral Study Program in Pharmaceutical Sciences based on the implementation of good governance.
