The Health Innovation Study & Policy (HITS-Pol) research cluster is dedicated to advancing the health system through evidence-based innovations and strategic policy analysis, including regulatory aspects. Its core mission is to bridge the gap between research, practice, and policy. The cluster conducts studies encompassing the exploration and evaluation of health innovation issues, such as efficacy, effectiveness, safety, economic evaluation, management, and health innovation policies, particularly in the pharmaceutical field. Key focus areas include health technologies, health system reforms, service delivery innovations, public health interventions, and health policies. HITS-Pol collaborates with stakeholders across academia, government, the private sector, and civil society. Its research outcomes serve as scientific evidence to support decision-makers, healthcare providers, and the public in implementing effective, sustainable, and impactful health innovations.
