Pharmaceutical Seminar (PHASE) 80th

Seminar, the main event on Phase 80, will bring out the topic “Facing AEC 2015: Enhancing Pharmacy’s Strategies”. This topic is selected due to the fact that Indonesia as a part of ASEAN is about to face ASEAN Economic Community that will be started at the end of this year. Pharmacy as a part of both industrial and health system in Indonesia will surely play a huge role within it. AEC 2015 will obviously provide both opportunities and threats significantly for Indonesia’s pharmaceutical aspect.

Due to this situation, Phase 80 wants to take an active role in enlightening Indonesian pharmacist’s minds about “The Impact, Opportunities, and Challenges of AEC 2015 in Indonesia towards Pharmacy in Pharmaceutical Industries, Hospitals, and Community”. These three pharmaceutical aspects will be discussed thoroughly by the expert from every field in three different sessions so that the participants are going to receive an adequate knowledge of the condition of each aspect currently. Each of the session will discuss and analyze the effects of AEC towards those three aspects, the current conditions in facing AEC, targets and goals that wanted to be achieved along with the strategic planning that have been made so far.
These seminar then will be closed by an inspirational session entitled “Aim Your Career Higher” that will be led by an expert of human resource development from multinational company and a young pharmacist that has been successful in his career. Both of them will describe how to prepare ourselves in pharmaceutical world, especially in facing competitors that comes from other countries in ASEAN. Through this seminar, participants are expected to gain an adequate understanding about what they are going to face when AEC has already been started and how they are going to prepare for it.
