This research group focuses on the discovery, development, and quality assurance of raw materials and finished products derived from natural sources, including herbal medicines, nutraceuticals, and modern pharmaceuticals. The research adopts a multidisciplinary approach that combines conventional screening techniques with artificial intelligence-based technologies. The bioresources are obtained from both terrestrial and marine organisms, in the form of cultures, extracts, fractions, isolates, and their modified derivatives. Each product candidate undergoes efficacy and safety evaluations, including standardized in vitro, in vivo, and clinical trials, to ensure scientific validation of quality, safety, and effectiveness.
