Jurusan yang semula berlokasi di Jl. Diponegoro Jakarta Pusat ini, tergabung dalam satu fakultas yang awalnya bernama Fakultas Ilmu Pasti dan Ilmu Alam (FIPIA) yang kemudian berdasarkan Kepres No. 44 tahun 1982 berubah menjadi Fakultas Matematika dan Ilmu Pengetahuan Alam (FMIPA).

Jurusan Farmasi berlokasi di belakang Fakultas Ekonomi UI Jl. Salemba Raya No. 4 Jakarta Pusat

Menempati gedung di belakang gedung Rektorat UI Jl. Salemba Raya No. 4 Jakarta Pusat. Pada tahun 1987, Jurusan Farmasi menempati gedung D FMIPA UI bersama Jurusan Matematika di Kampus Baru Universitas Indonesia, Depok

Menempati gedung D, kegiatan administrasi Departemen Farmasi dipusatkan di Gedung C FMIPA UI. Saat kepindahan ke Depok (tahun 1987), Jurusan Farmasi baru mengelola Program Sarjana (S1) dan Program Apoteker dengan jumlah mahasiswa kira-kira 200 orang dan jumlah dosen 30 orang.

Berdasarkan Keputusan Majelis Wali Amanat (MWA) Universitas Indonesia No. 01/SK/MWA-UI/2003, tentang ART-UI, maka Jurusan Farmasi FMIPA UI telah disesuaikan namanya menjadi Departemen Farmasi FMIPA UI.

Keputusan Rektor Universitas Indonesia No. 2408A/SK/ R/2011, tentang Pembukaan Fakultas Farmasi Universitas Indonesia, maka Departemen Farmasi FMIPA UI berubah menjadi Fakultas Farmasi Universitas Indonesia (FF UI).

  1. To optimize broad and equitable access, as well as quality education and teaching in the field of pharmacy;

  3. To produce pharmacy graduates with high intellectual capacity, noble character, and global competitiveness; and
  4. To create an academic climate that supports the realization of the vision of the Faculty of Pharmacy, Universitas Indonesia.
